Let’s eat some Guac!
By the end of the 3rd week students at CIEE participated in a contest where they tested their cooking abilities! How? By preparing guacamole!
But wait! They had to get the ingredients first. This wasn't a problem, because they went to the local market where they could get fresh and delicious vegetables to get ready for the competition. In the market, they had the opportunity to talk with local people about different topics related to Mexican society.
The contest was not only about preparing guacamole, but also about choosing a secret ingredient to make it exquisite.
When we arrived to the CIEE center, students were ready to start! They used the ingredients bought at the market and started to work! Everybody had a lot of fun while doing the activity.
At the end of the day, the members of the judges were ready to decide who the winner was… and 3B won the competition!
