La Créativité in Rennes
This week's activities are all related to the theme of creativity. In class, students are learning how to express their opinions and how to discuss art and music. On Monday, students enjoyed listening to poet Déborah Ribeiro read some of her poems. Déborah's two passions are poetry and cooking, and she prepared a delicious cocoa cake with a ginger whipped cream and salted caramel drizzle. Students asked Déborah questions about her inspiration, her favorite cuisines, and her travels.
On Tuesday, students explored the Musée des Beaux-Arts and admired the works of art. Students discussed their favorite pieces, which included cubist paintings, pop art, sculptures, and classic works. The creativity continues on Thursday when students will learn about Street Art and make their own fresco! Stay tuned!
