K-pop Session 1 has arrived!
Session 1 has arrived and is ready to check off our ever growing bucket lists! We started this week off with ice breakers, guided tours of Insadong and many trips to the convenience store. This morning we are starting our first K-pop class with Professor Jungwon Kim and this afternoon we are getting to see the traditional side of Korea by touring Buckchon Hanok Village followed by traditional Korean dessert.
We had the chance to explore Seoul with a scavenger hunt that led us to Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and Gyeongbokgung Palace which dates back to the Joseon dynasty and was the main palace. Students are eager to explore the area and have found the various photobooths with their favorite idol and fun headbands. We are eager to share more of our adventures with everybody back home!
