Hip Hop in Sunny Toulouse

On Tuesday afternoon, our students paid a visit to LDanse to get an introduction to Hip Hop...French style! The classes started with an introduction to to the movement that started in the Bronx in the 1970s and found its way to France about ten years later. Students learned about the five disciplines of Hip Hop before getting on the dance floor for some energetic instruction in what could be best decribed as the crossroads between art and sport.
It has been a warm week in Toulouse. But, we are speaking French, making cultural connections, and creating lifetime memories.
