Hip Hop Hipsters Hit Toulouse

This afternoon the CIEE students had a special treat - hip hop dance lessons! Mina, our fabulous instructor, first explained some of the history of the hip hop movement and the different styles - locking, popping, break dancing, street, and funk. Afterwards, everyone hit the dance floor. From a program leader's perspective it was amazing to see 100% participation from the kids. They really seemed to enjoy the opportunity, and the "hip hop battle" at the end is something that I am sure will be remembered for a long time.
