First week in La República Dominicana

It's crazy to think about how much has been jam-packed into a mere week of being here! Upon arriving, our group hit the ground running. So far we've visited a waterfall, a beach, a colonial zone, a museum, and so much more! I think more than anything, the first week abroad is a time of processing and becoming accustomed to the new environment. The participants are interacting with locals in the target language every day! We've taken a ridiculous amount of photos, we have danced, and we have eaten La Bandera (the most typical of Dominican dishes)!
