First impressions of the Spanish capital
The Advanced Language and Culture (ALC) section has had a busy week of getting used to the Spanish culture, speaking only en español, touring the winding streets of Madrid and so much more! Joining us this week is ALC student Sara describing her experience in Madrid so far.
"My first week in Madrid has been incredible! The gastronomy is amazing, the people are kind, and it's amazing to have something new to learn about everyday. One can rarely say that they stumbled upon a rooftop cafe with amazing food or were sernaded while eating churros and chocolate with friends, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to create these memories. CIEE has done a great job in setting the guidelines out and making us feel comfortable in a foreign country while also allowing us enough space to learn more about oursevles and discover Madrid on our own means!"
Take a look at some of the amazing photos showing just how much fun our honorary Madrileños are having!
