As we landed at Merida International Airport, the air buzzed with anticipation. The energy was palpable, and our students couldn't wait to immerse themselves in the wonders of this new destination.

Waiting eagerly at the arrival gate were our local coordinators and the warm-hearted host families. Hugs, smiles, and heartfelt welcomes were exchanged, instantly forming connections that would make this experience even more extraordinary.

Our first order of business today was an orientation day, where the students got a taste of Merida's charm. Coordinators shared valuable insights into the local culture, traditions, and even a few handy Spanish phrases to help everyone feel at ease.
