The Global Navigators continued their discovery of creativity in Rennes by exploring Street Art with Tom Nelson. During a walking tour, students learned about the history of Street Art in Rennes, its connections with the U.S., different types of Street Art and tags, and more about Tom Nelson and his inspiration. In class, students are learning to express their opinions, discuss art, and ask questions relating to art and culture.

After the walking tour, students had a chance to test out their own creative skills! Students worked with a partner to complete a letter in our very own fresco. Some students chose to do patterns, some included drawings, some included their own tags, and others blended colors together. Each letter was unique and contributed to a stunning Street Art repping CIEE Global Navigators!
