Cité de l'Espace
One of the most well-known sites in Toulouse is the Cité de l'Espace. We had a guided tour, during which we learned about the International Space Station, some milestones in the history of space exploration, and about the European Space Agency (ESA). Did you know that the ESA launches their rockets from Kourou, in French Guyane? French Guyane is a French territory located in South America next to Suriname and Brazil. We also learned about Thomas Pesquet, who is a French astronaut and is currently in space right now. After our guided tour, we watched an iMax film with 3D glasses about Asteroids.
