CIEE's trip to Zhujiajiao (7/15/17)
On the 15th of July, the students of the Shanghai Session 2 course went to the city of Zhujiajiao, an ancient water town at the outskirts of Shanghai.
The day began just a little later than usual, with the group leaving at 9:30 on a bus. The trip was around a hour long. But before we headed for the canals, we stopped by Khezi Garden, an ancient garden (although not that ancient compared to the rest of the city, as it was built in 1912) for sightseeing purposes.

After we stayed in the Khezi Garden for just a little under an hour, we headed for the main attraction: Zhujaojiao.
The group jumped inside of small boats in groups of 6 and headed out for the biggest bridge of the city, Fangsheng Bridge, where we then split into a multitude of small groups and headed out to do whatever we wanted on the city.
After 3 hours of exploring the city, we headed back to Shanghai to get ready for the next day.
