Barcelona Bound!
CIEE Global Navigators will soon begin their journey to Barcelona, to study Sports Management in the home of winners of the Women's Champions League: FC Barcelona!
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia in Spain, is a city bursting with cultural richness. From the stunning architecture of Antoni Gaudí to the bustling markets of La Boqueria, every corner exudes a unique charm. For high school students, this presents an invaluable opportunity to engage with different customs, languages, and ways of life.
The amazing students will meet with industry experts to learn about Sports as a business, considering history, studying audiences, financial evolution, and social impact. They will investigate the things that distinguish sports from other forms of entertainment and evaluate the possibilities and potential of sports as a societal tool.
My fellow Program Leaders and I will post regularly so that you can follow along on the adventure.
¡Hasta pronto!
