¡A bailar!
On Tuesday afternoon, students experienced a private dance class with two instructors. They received a brief overview of merengue, bachata, and salsa dance styles, and enjoyed a short performance of each dance. Students warmed up with merengue, which is considered one of the easier Latin dances. Next, they tried some salsa moves to really get their heart rates up. Finally, they learned bachata, which served as a great cool down. Since then, a few students have been practicing their moves during their free time and are eager to learn more Latin dances!
