Au cinéma!
Yesterday for our cultural activity, we went to the cinema and saw a French film called À l’abordage. This film is a new release by filmmaker Guillaume Brac. It is a comedy about a boy, Félix, who meets a girl, Alma, one night in Paris while dancing on the banks of the Seine. Alma leaves on vacation with her family the next day. Félix convinces his friend Chérif to go on a road trip together to surprise Alma. Along the way, things don’t go as planned and it turns into an adventure.
After the film, we had a discussion about it, which was a great way to practice cinema-related vocabulary, as well as expressing an opinion about a film. It was also a great way to practice listening comprehension in French.
