Amsterdam Adventure
This week the students have been on the go. After orientation, the students began their adventures around Amsterdam . One of their first adventures was the canal tour. The students learned the history of the canal system, how they serve the city of Amsterdam, and how they were created. Students got to view the house boats that line the canal ways, nature, and the city from a different perspective.
The next adventure that the students took part in was a trip to the Van Gogh museum. Here the students got to delve into the world of Vincent Van Gogh. Students learned how his art artwork became famous after his death, why only one of his portraits sold during his lifetime, and the many stories about his life. Many of his masterpieces were viewed and an explanation was given about the reasoning for the creation of it.
