Your Destination
Located at the very tip of Western Europe, Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. With one of the most eclectic collections of museums and picturesque postcard views from the city’s seven hills, it will most certainly captivate your eye! Although it is known for its history and blend of Roman and Moorish architecture, Lisbon has also developed to become a modern and vibrant city, home to innumerous startups, Michelin Star restaurants, and a trendy design and street art scene.
CIEE Lisbon is conveniently located inside the host university, the Universidade Nova de Lisboa School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH), allowing students to easily reach out to center staff.
CIEE wants all our students to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed while studying abroad. Local CIEE staff have provided details about conditions and cultural attitudes that students with specific identities might encounter in Lisbon.
