Strengthening Student Support: CIEE Meets with the University of Auckland
A couple of weeks ago, our local CIEE team in Auckland had the pleasure of meeting with Sarah Sung, Study Abroad Manager at the University of Auckland (UoA). The meeting was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our partnership and ensure that our upcoming cohort of CIEE students receives the best possible academic and personal support while taking courses at one of New Zealand’s top universities.
Our conversation focused on the enrollment process and the key systems in place to support CIEE students as they engage with UoA coursework. From navigating course registration to understanding the academic culture in New Zealand, we’re working closely with UoA to make sure students feel confident and prepared from day one.
The University of Auckland is New Zealand’s highest-ranked university and a member of the prestigious Association of Pacific Rim Universities. Its global outlook, academic excellence, and central location in Auckland make it a strong fit for our students seeking an immersive and rewarding study abroad experience.
Our team is committed to making sure CIEE students are well-supported as they step into this new academic setting. Thanks to the collaboration between our staff and the UoA team, we’re confident that students will have the tools and guidance they need to make the most of their time here—both inside and outside the classroom.
