K-pop Idols at Music Bank Every Friday!!

What day is K-pop fans' favorite day? It's Friday!! If you want to see K-pop idols for free and very closely, Friday is the best day!

Music Bank happens at KBS Hall every Friday, and what makes Music Bank unique from the other music shows is its 출근길 (go to work) and 퇴근길 (Get off work)! What it means is that you get to see K-pop idols walking in and out of the KBS building. Normally, for 출근길, idols will stand in a line for reporters to take pictures. And! This is the best time to see them! In the pictures, you can see how close I was, and how good-looking they all are!! For 퇴근길, you can see idols walking out of the building to their cars after the live show. Now, I am going to provide some tips for those who are interested~

TIPS:

출근길 TIME

There is no specific time for 출근길 to be honest because we never know when the idols will arrive. It usually happens around 7:30- 8:30 A.M. However, things may be different when more popular groups have a comeback, such as Seventeen. I recommend arriving there earlier if there is a big group coming (if they currently have a comeback, they will come). The gate to the parking lot opens at 6:00 A.M., so if you are there to see bigger groups, get there early. Some people even save spots using their stools and ladders the night before. So if you are seeing groups like, BTS, NCT, or Seventeen, I would recommend saving a spot the night before. But for other groups, you can go anytime before 7:30- 8:00 A.M. 

출근길 PLACE

Cameramen usually have their ladders placed right in front of the door of the building but for us, I think the best place to see idols are right behind where they take pictures(you'll be in the reporters' photos though). This is the closest. Sometimes you can even walk with the idols from their cars(but don't get too close, give them some personal space). 

퇴근길 TIME

The Live show starts at 5:00 P.M. and ends at 6:00 P.M. Therefore, idols will start coming out of the building around 6:10 P.M. Idols will wave at the fans when they walk out but they leave pretty fast. 

퇴근길 PLACE

The best place is where all the cameramen are, right in front of the door. However, they are using ladders so we cannot see anything if we are standing behind them. So I think any side view is good for 퇴근길. But just a heads up, idols walk out really fast to their cars, usually 5-10 seconds.

Some of you may be curious about what to do between 출근길 and 퇴근길. It's all about waiting... BUT!!!! There will sometimes be fan meetings during this time~ These fan meetings are in public areas, so anyone can watch! I watched so many fan meetings while I was there waiting. Check the group notices to see if any of them are having fan meetings that day~~
