Insadong Cafe
Today, I went to a cute cafe in Insadong! It was hidden in a little maze alley that I came across with my friend, and it served egg tarts and drinks. The ambiance inside was really aesthetic and very Instagram-worthy. However, the drinks were more on the pricier side (about 7,000 won per drink) to make up for the pretty interior. The egg tarts were very good though. I haven't had an egg tart since I was little, so it brought back many memories.
After sitting in the cafe for about an hour, I continued to explore the rest of the neighborhood with my friend. Insadong has so many handmade souvenir shops and cafes. It's the perfect spot for an afternoon coffee and gift shopping for your friends and family back home! The commute to Insadong from Yonsei wasn't too bad either. I'd say it was a 25-30 minute bus ride.
