Guide to the Yon-Ko Games!!
The Yon-Ko games, also known as the Yonsei/Korea University rivalry games has been going on for centuries. The two schools come together in a sports festival competition including sports like soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, and rugby. These events are extremely fun to attend to experience some of the Yonsei school spirit and even learn some of the cheers while you are at it. For study abroad students, make sure to look at all of the different Instagram accounts (@Yonsei_studentcouncil, @Yonsei_gosc, @Yonsei_global, @mentorsclub_yonsei) to stay up to date when the events are announced. This is an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself into the Korean student culture and make sure to participate in all of the pop-up events to get prizes like towels, hats, and tattoos while you are at the games. Last reminder, is HAVE FUN!!
