Melissa G.

¡Hola! My name is Melissa Garcia but you can call me Mely! I am a proud first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Georgia, USA. I attended the University of Georgia and earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism with a certificate in Music Business. My educational journey set the foundation for the world of media, leading to internships with organizations such as The Recording Academy and WABE, Atlanta’s NPR and PBS station.

Outside of my professional achievements, I treasure my loved ones and have a deep passion for travel. My adventures have enriched my perspective and fueled my curiosity. 

Currently, I'm embarking on an exciting new chapter as I set off to teach in Spain. This journey represents not only a professional transition but also a personal exploration. I look forward to evolving as an individual, learning more about myself, and connecting with new audiences through my experiences and stories. I hope you'll join me on this adventure!
