I currently teach 7th grade English Language Arts, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, Masters of Teaching and Learning from the University of Southern Maine, and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Writing and the Teaching of Writing through the University of Maine. I began my career in education in 1996 in the M.S.A.D#75 district as a regular educator and have taught grades 3-7, as well as High School Adult Education. I am also a certified Teacher Consultant with the National Writing Project and have taught for the Maine Writing Project’s Young Author’s camps. Summers are spent traveling the country, hiking, and spending time with my two grandchildren.
