Caitlin-Marie was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Georgetown University in English and Latin American Studies, respectively. She earned a TEFL certificate from CIEE in 2018, which she put to use as a volunteer TEFL instructor at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C. She is now living and working in Madrid as an auxiliar de conversación through the Teach in Spain Basics program.
