Seoul, South Korea – 75th Annual Study Abroad Conference

It was wonderful to see so many of you last month for CIEE’s 75th Annual Study Abroad Conference, in Seoul, South Korea. Seoul was the perfect setting for us to meet in person for the first time since we gathered in Brooklyn, NY, in 2019. Thank you to everyone who delivered the exceptional conference sessions and participated in the rich networking sessions. Berlin, Germany – 11th Annual Global Internship Conference – June 21 - 23, 2023

Looking ahead to 2023, we are pleased to announce that CIEE’s 11th Annual Global Internship Conference (GIC) will be held in Berlin, Germany, on June 21 - 23, 2023 with the theme: Global Experiential Learning in a Borderless World . 

The GIC will present the latest thought leadership in global experiential learning and the future of work in an increasingly borderless world. The conference will feature leading multi-national host organizations, experts on visas and legal issues related to international internships, government officials, student voices, interactive innovation sessions, and more.

Pre-conference workshops on June 19 - 20, 2023, will provide time to focus on the latest developments in health and safety, and techniques to support the rapid increase in diversity abroad.

Paris, France – 76th Annual Study Abroad Conference – November 8 - 10, 2023

Also, we’re pleased to share that CIEE’s 76th Annual Study Abroad Conference will be held in Paris, France, November 8 - 10, 2023, with the theme: Reimagining the Future of Study Abroad.

Pre-conference workshops on November 7 - 8, 2023, will provide time to focus on developing career paths for young professionals in international education and supporting diversity abroad. CIEE also will host site visits to each of our French centers – Rennes, Toulouse, and Paris.
