Return to Roots- a Teenager's Year in Germany
Mississippi High School student Allison Wolfarth will return to the land of her birth this July when she travels to Germany with CIEE to spend her senior year abroad.
Wolfarth, 17, is one of 50 students from the southeastern U.S. to receive a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship to live and study in Germany for the 2012-13 school year. Wolfarth, who leaves for Germany on July 28, said she is looking forward to the trip.
"I have dual citizenship with Germany," she said. "I've always wanted to move back to my home country."
