You and Me in Italy!
Traveling is such an amazing way to expand our cultural horizons. Our Global Navigation from the varying locations of which we reside brought us to the land of pizza, pasta, bascilicas and the coloseum.
Italy is one of the most visited locations in the world. People venture to Italy to experience all aspects of Italian culture- especially the art, architecture and cuisine.
The destinations on today's journey in between our classes at the CIEE study center were the Piazza di Campitelli, Largo di Torre Argentina, Piazza Venezia and Jewish Ghetto.
From the florist hydrating the petals of his flowers with his bare hands, to the clothes and jewelry draping from the storefont-like adjacent gazeebos- The marketplace was buzzing with living color.
Students got a chance to become familiar with new neighborhood essentials- Grocery stores, cafés, pharmacies, subway stations, banks, supermarkets, bus stops, etc.
They even got a chance to enjoy some gelato in a historical gelaterie.
One particular student described the day as--“Mind Opening”
Our open minded and wide eyed students are full of excitement, as they anticipate the adventures to come.
