Why Study Abroad?
I wanted to study abroad after an amazing trip to Paris through my French program at school my sophomore year. It opened my eyes to how much of the world there is to see and I wanted to experience that.
I was wondering why other people decided to study abroad so I asked some of my friends and classmates and this is what they said!
Nica J. 14, sophomore- “I want to learn a bunch of languages and I want to go into international relations and I also want to travel a lot and I thought studying abroad was a good start to that”
Emma P. 16, junior- “My school doesn’t offer Italian classes and I wanted to learn the language because my family is also Italian. Plus.. Rome is Rome!”
Claire A. 16, junior- “I wanted to travel and I thought studying abroad was a good way to do it for the first time and Rome sounded cool. and the history was also cool.”
Riley H. 17, senior- ”I was very in between careers and I’m going into my senior year and I thought studying abroad would teach my my values and teach me a new perspective.”
Hudson S. 16, junior- “I wanted to further explore my love for Rome and instead of focusing on the ancient history I wanted to focus on the modern history and meet people who had the same interest”
