We've Arrived! (And Use Chopsticks!)

Our flight took off at three minutes to 9:00 PM, so it was no surprise that the team was exhausted when they got off the plane. Still, they marveled at the Beijing airport. With an architect's eye, Connor pointed out the multilayered ceiling pattern. Ana and Leilani were impressed at how open it felt.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM. It was time for a quick trip to a very late dinner. 1:45 AM saw us sitting in a college campus restaurant. No one was there except for CIEE, but it worked to our advantage. It was the perfect chance for our travelers to practice their chopstick skill. Tova used them for the very first time!
