Welcome, it's Viking Splash time!
What comes to mind when you think of Ireland? Hopefully at the top of your list are Vikings! This week Global Entrepreneur students immersed themselves into the Irish culture as they wore trendy Viking hats and explored the city first by land then on water on the Viking Splash! More specifically, it's a tour operator for rides through Dublin in amphibious buses that float along the Grand Canal Basin.
As part of week one, students explored Dublin with the guidance of our CIEE's local program leader. It's so exciting and helpful for students to have someone locally knowledgable about where to go and what to avoid. One place we all went to was a nearby park with an interesting outdoor arts and crafts market.
As we moved from the outdoor market, students found the Live Portal located in the city center. They waved with excitment as people from New York greeted them and even played a game of rock, paper, scissors across time-zones.
