Welcome! First days in Seville
All the Seville Language and Culture students arrived safe and sound on Sunday, even after some delays and cancellations. After meeting their wonderful host families, it was time to rest and get ready for the beginning of the program!
Yesterday, on Monday, the students had a busy day with some orientation sessions, learning important topics that will be really useful throughout their experience, such as: Overview of the Program and checking all the activities and academic responsabilies they have during the session, Diversity & Inclusion to get to know the cultural diferences between USA and Seville, Health & Safety, Bystander Intervention and Academic Session, where they got to meet their teachers and Program Leaders. During the evening, they got to walk around their neighborhoods with some of the peers who live close by and enjoy a refreshing ice cream to beat Sevilla's hot weather.
Finally, today they got to meet their new classrooms for the month and began their lessons in their assigned group, starting then their inmersive experience.
There has been a lot of emotions, getting to meet new people and getting used to the city that will be their home for the next weeks. We cannot cait to see them grow and improve their English, while they get to enjoy this amazing experience!
