Honors Spanish Language & Culture

On Thursday, July 25th, our group of students had the incredible opportunity to visit the magnificent Cathedral of Seville. It was a day filled with awe and wonder as we explored one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.

The best part of our visit was the tour given by our guide, Cristina. She kept everyone interested with her stories and clear explanations about the cathedral's history and importance. The students especially enjoyed her insights, which made the old walls and artifacts much more interesting than just reading about them in books.

One of the most unforgettable moments was entering the large interior of the cathedral. The impressive size and design of the space left everyone amazed. The students were particularly struck by the detailed architecture and the colourful stained-glass windows. It was a valuable cultural experience for everyone.

Our adventure didn't stop there. We also had the chance to climb the Giralda, the cathedral's famous bell tower. As we ascended the tower, the students were filled with excitement and anticipation. Reaching the top, we were rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Seville. The city spread out beneath us, and the students were thrilled to spot various landmarks and neighbourhoods from such a unique vantage point.

Overall, the visit to the Cathedral of Seville and the Giralda was a highlight of our summer activities. The students left with a deeper appreciation for the city's history and a newfound curiosity about cultural heritage.

Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming activities and adventures!
