Week 1
The students loved seeing the historical Asakusa and enjoyed learning the details of this location. They especially enjoyed eating Ichigo Daifuku! We participated in the Omikuji and discussed the various outcomes of this activity. We also went to Ikebukuro this week to the Sunshine City Aquarium and Pokemon Center. The students loved the aquarium and were so excited about the famous Tokyo Pokemon Center. The students practiced their Japanese skills they have learned so far in their school classes in each of their afternoon activities and even spoke with local students!
