Villa de Isabel

We went to Villa de Isabel which is where Christopher Columbus first landed.  This is the first city built in the "New World" by Europeans.  We got a good history lesson from our tour guide here.  We saw artifacts from the Taino indegeous people and saw what was left from the settlement of Christopher Columbus.  There were the remains of their housing and tiles from the roofs left at the settlement.
