Touring the murals of Los Pepines

Los Pepines is a gorgeous neighborhood located near downtown Santiago and is brimming with color, light, and vibrance. On our tour (which was one of the best, according the participants) we learned about the history of the neighborhood, a home to many talented artists. We also heard about how important conservation efforts are recently in the city--the gorgeous murals that decorate the buildings of the Los Pepines came about as a beautification project that places an emphasis on the environment and public health.
