Berlin is Germany's capital and turning into one of Europe's more eclectic metropolitans. After long transatlantic flight a group of 20 high schoolers arrived to Berlin filled with excitement, and an eagerness to explore.

Day 1 & 2 : Arrival and Orientation

Day 1 had the group fighting their first experience with jetlag, while bonding with their colleagues. They were welcomed with a small orientation instruction, room assignment and a welcome lunch at a nearby restaurant.  After lunch, they spent some time on a guided tour around our Kreuzberg neighborhood.
The next day started with a small breakfast, and the morning's class session was spent going over several orientation topics to get students accustomed to the day-to day expectation of the program.

Immersing themselves in the rich history of Berlin, the students embarked on an afternoon guided tour around Berlin's historic center, starting from the Brandenburg Gate in Pariser Platz and making their way over to the historic US Check Point Charlie.

Day 3: 1st Day of the Global Entrepreneurship class

The morning class session was spent with Professor Paul in their first class on entrepreneurship, and after lunch, we went on a tour of Humana’s Secondhand store sorting facilities where students got  the firsthand view of the logistics of the operation, and digitalization changes made over the years to improve operations processes.

It has been an intense first 3 days, with much more to look forward to. They discovered the intricate tapestry of Berlin's history, delved into entrepreneurial experience, and embraced firsthand contact of the German language and culture. There is lots more to come, and the group is fully engaged in having an incredible study abroad program in Berlin.
