Time Travel at the Mueso Arqueologico
History is not the past but a map of the past, drawn from a particular point of view, to be useful to the modern traveller. - Henry Glassie
As the students slowly start to acclimate to Madrid, they are now tackling the wuestions about culture and the adventure of studying abroad:
How are we different/similar?
What can food tell us about a culture?
Will I ever understand Spanish slang?
How am I growing and changing as a person?
With these questions in mind, we visited the Museo Arqueologico. During our walk through we saw the Iberian Pennsula thru the lens of time traveling from the Prehistoric, Medieval, Christian Reign, Egyptian, Greek, and Modern History of Spain-- and of course, we has some laughs along the way.
