STUDENT BLOG TAKEOVER! The Vineyard: A Soulful Experience in Botswana
by Rachael Sickles
When my host family invited me to church, I was excited and curious to see the differences from a church in Botswana compared to a church in Maine, where I live. Everyone was singing, smiling, and the atmosphere in the air was warm and welcoming! The room was filled with hundreds of people and everyone knew each other.
One of the concepts our priest was discussing was that of a vineyard. I will always remember how passionately he talked to us about abiding in Jesus, and if we show our souls to him we will prosper and live our lives to the fullest!
