Reflection at Chellah
Today's reflection was located at Chellah:
The Chellah or Shalla is a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis located in the metro area of Rabat, Morocco, on the south side of the Bou Regreg estuary. The Phoenicians established a trading emporium at the site. This was later the site of an ancient Roman colony in the province of Mauretania Tingitana.
Our reflection started by having. the students share 1 rose and 1 thorn about their experience so far. Luckily we had a lot of roses and a few common thorns that we have addressed. Their reflection was excellent and they all had multiple common roses including getting fed too much " Moroccan tradition".
The day continued by having "Shea" play us a couple of songs and sing us Halleluja from Shrek. Very talented..
We wrapped up the day by Reflecting in a serene environment looking over the Bouregreg Lake and the Participants had a chance to unwind and reflect on their trip.
Next will be Refugees got Talent......
