Recap of the first week by student Alex Conlon
The first week of Climate Change Mitigation Program Session 1 is almost over. It has been a week full of knowledge about our surroundings, our carbon footprints, climate change, an awakening of awareness of our actions and impacts on the planet. It has also been a time to start making new friends, explore the campus, practice Spanish, learn new vocabulary about climate change, walk in the middle of the forest and eat Costa Rican typical food.
But well for this blog today I will not be telling you much about the experience, because today our student Alex Conlon wanted to share with us what they have experienced these first days. She has created a beautiful text summarizing what this first week has been like for her, mentioning the main moments they have experienced so far.
