Painting is just another way to keep a diary- Pablo Picasso
As we walk into the ceramic studio we are met with this colors of the rainbow and blank ceramic canvases. Our instructor introduced us to the processing of painting with slip and powered pignents mixed with water and quickly brushing them onto the mugs.
After paint our designs we did a quick dip into the glaze, finished the bottom ring of our mugs and set them over to dry.
A few of us even had the opportunity to throw on the wheel and try to center a mug ourselves.
Stay tuned for the finished products after they have been kiln fired.
