Oh, Tomar!

This weekend we visited the magical city of Tomar. We toured the Fluviario to focus on river ecosystems first, and later toured the river ecosystem
itself- in the form of kayaking, stopping to do labs on the abiotic and biotic parts of the system, and then more kayaking! Of course we PLAYED as we learned- on the beach, in the city of Constancia, at the festival in our city of Tomar....we PLAYED. So many smiles. So many happy people. We also could not visit the area without a tour of the Convent of Knights of Templar- what a gorgeous ancient building and interesting history. Oh, Tomar!
