Learning "sur place!"
Whether it is in class with a teacher, community conversations with a Program Leader, varied excursions throughout Paris, taking the metro or a city bus, speaking with store clerks or waiters, or dinner with the host family, the students are busy learning every minute of their day. They are picking up new vocabulary and new expressions as well as using their already acquired knowledge with which they arrived to Paris. The students have been busy for three weeks navigating a new city, practicing and presenting in a new language, and most of all making new friends! It really makes a difference to learn a new language and culture "sur place!"
