Learning Inside and Outside of the Classroom
Students in the World Government program have been enjoying an exciting few days in beautiful Amsterdam. From Dutch language lessons and classes on local and national government to tours of Amsterdam’s markets and historic sites, we are learning both inside and outside of the classroom. On Wednesday, the group met with a representative from Amsterdam’s GroenLinks party, who spoke with students about her experience as a member of Amsterdam’s City Council. In Dutch language class, we’ve learned vocabulary and grammar, and practiced basic conversations that we’ve put into practice during our outings in the city.
