Wednesday, June 30th
La commedia dell'arte was an early form of professional theatre, originating from Italy, that was popular in Europe from the 16th to the 18th century. The students learned about the various characters such as Pantalone, Colombina, Arlecchino, and Il Dottore to name a few from a professional Italian actress. The workshop also focused on various acting strategies and exercises to help the students perform their improvisations together. Tutti sul palco !
