Kiyomizu - Fortunate Waters
The joys of the Japanese landscape are often derived from a balanced fusion of nature and traditional architecture. One of the most famous examples of this is the exquisite Kiyomizu Temple with a long history over a millennium.
Built along the side of a mountain, using a technique requiring nails, the structure commands a splendid view of Kyoto. Participants could find a waterfall split into three to make a wish depending on the stream they chose: long life, love destiny, or academic success. Which one would you choose?
