Hang 10!
This past weekend students explored local markets, travelled to Boulders Beach to see the penguins and saw the western-most cape which Cape Town was named after! Students also learned how to surf at the famous Muizenberg beach where we have been staying. The weather that day was 72 and sunny, which has been a break from more wintery weather this season. In the ocean, students gained confidence in their new skill, and each student caught a wave and stood up, if only for a few seconds it was a win!
All-in-all it was a relaxing weekend filled with dinners, shopping and exploring the city. Some students got their hair done, others their nails. We also went to see a springbok rugby game! The action was fast-paced, and the crowd was lively!
