In the Clouds
We have arrived in the lovely (and high up in the mountains) Monteverde. We have hiked in the cloud forest reserve and explored a butterfly garden that also has an impressive collection of cool insects. We listened to a talk about a non profit called Nãi that helps with tapir conservation. Today students were able to climb a hollowed out strangler fig tree. Then we learned about gps systems and mapping from an expert. We are excited to go canyoning tomorrow!
