Trip to Tarragona
I woke up early and took a trip with my study abroad agency to Tarragona!
We first stopped a little outside the city to visit the aqueduct for the ancient city.
(Pro tip: don’t wear sandals to an ancient aqueduct. There will be lots of climbing up and down steep hills with lots of loose rocks…)
We started out visit with a tour guide. He took us around the city and showed us the different parts of the converted ancient city, adding historical commentary. It was cool to see the old city walls and see new streets constructed within the old city. Tarragona was one of the first and biggest Roman cities in the Iberian Peninsula. You can see some of what we saw in the pictures
