The study abroad adventure starts!

"Welcome to Alicante!"- we greeted every student arriving yesterday to the Airport carrying their belongings in heavy suitcases. It's been a long trip and not many hours of sleep but the excitement of the new adventure makes them smile. "It is so beautiful and sunny"- they said as soon as they step out of the airport. They have spent their first night with their host families and some already talk about "mi mamá española". After some rest and the energy of a tasty Spanish breakfast, we met this morning to tour around the main spots of Alicante City: Central Market, Train Station, the port, the beach, main avenues, and stores. "It looks like the perfect city to spend the next months"- a student comment. After the tour its time for the basic information of housing, health and safety in Alicante. Lots of information, ready to explore and experience so many new things...The adventure has started! Welcome CIEE Alicante Students Spring 19!
