Personal Growth During a Busan Trip
I want to write a small blog of my time in Busan as it is the first place that I have visited that is the closest to my hometown back in Rhode Island, near the Ocean. In my opinion I don’t think I have experienced the most of Busan because the people that I had gone with were vegetarian which made it very difficult to find places to eat. Nonetheless this didn’t stop me from living to the fullest.
Here is a vlog showcasing my time in Busan!
A few places that we had visited included beaches, cultural villages, a temple by the shore (as there are only a few that are still present by the coastline), Jagalchi Market (seafood market), and ending the trip with fireworks at the beach.
Something that was very funny was that we had asked a local who was walking a bunny (apparently this is possible), if it was acceptable to light up fireworks at the beach. The beach that we had went to was Songdo Beach (부산광역시 - 암남동). However, inside a nearby GS25, the cashier had stated that it was fine to light up works but only up to 2-3. This was also hilarious because there were others who were lighting up fireworks. We came to the conclusion that the woman that we had asked didn’t want us to light up fireworks because she would be afraid that this would scare the bunny that she was walking. After setting off a couple of fireworks, we saw three kids who looked like they were in highschool, shooting fireworks at one another. We had thought that they had gone crazy, but maybe this is normal in Busan?
The next morning before our flight, I decided to wake up at 5am to go for a walk at a beach that was near our airbnb named Dadaepo Beach. As I went for a walk, the view was amazing, the direction that I happened to be facing was where the sun was rising. Unfortunately the path I had taken didn’t extend that far so there was a point where I had to turn back, however, this was still an exciting trip that I had taken in Korea. Additionally, during this walk, I learned a little bit about my personal growth.
